Jasper Jumper Herbst Appliance
The Jasper Jumper and Herbst appliances are indicated in patients with large overbites/overjets where the lower jaw is deficient in facial growth. Through the years, we have tried many appliances to correct these severe overbite cases. We have found the Jasper Jumper and Herbst appliances to be the most effective appliances in correcting lower jaw deficiencies. The result shown is typical if diagnosed and treated at the correct age. We recommend having an orthodontic evaluation around the age of 8.
