Initial Visit
- There is no charge for the initial visit.
- The patient and their parents will meet with Leslie our treatment coordinator as well as meeting with one of the doctors.
- The patient will be assessed to determine what type of treatment is necessary and all questions will be answered.
- If treatment is indicated, the cost of treatment will be determined to help the patient decide if they would like to begin treatment.

Records Appointment
- This appointment is used to evaluate and finalize the patient's treatment plan.
- X-rays, study models, and pictures will be taken as records of the patient and to evaluate the patient's needs.
Consultation
- After the patient has decided to begin treatment, the patient and parents will meet with a doctor to discuss the details of the treatment.
Regular Appointments
- Patients are seen on scheduled appointments.
- Placing your appliances (braces, expanders, etc.) will take approximately an hour to an hour and a half.
- You will be seen at intervals of 4 to 6 weeks for adjustments. These appointments take 20 to 40 minutes.
- We make every effort to be on time for our patients, and we ask that you extend the same courtesy to us.
- Keep in mind that it can be difficult to reschedule your appointment. Most appointments are made 4 to 6 weeks in advance. Therefore, please make every effort to make your scheduled appointment.
- If you cannot keep an appointment, please call us as soon as possible to reschedule so that we may offer the appointment to another patient or someone with an emergency.
- You can check your scheduled appointment date on our website after you have signed up as a user. We will send you an appointment reminder two days before your appointment via e-mail.

Cost
- Cost depends on the patient's treatment time and severity of the problem.

Payment Options
Keep in mind that orthodontic treatment is an excellent investment in the overall dental, medical and psychological well being of children and adults. Financial considerations should not be an obstacle to obtaining this important health service. We are sensitive to the fact that some people may have difficult needs in fulfilling their financial obligations, so we are providing the following payment options.
No Initial Payment Plan (Orthodontists Fee Plan)
- No initial payment
- One low monthly payment for multiple family members
- Significant tax advantage
- Prepayments can be made anytime without penalty
- Orthodontists Fee Plan
Payment in Full
- A bookkeeping courtesy of 10% is given for direct payment in full at start of treatment by cash, check or credit card.
Office Payment Plan
- An initial payment, usually 25%, is due to our office when treatment begins.
- The balance may be paid through monthly payments.
If for any reason the estimated amount is not paid by your insurance company, it becomes the responsibility of the patient.
Insurance
- Please have knowledge of your insurance carrier before your initial visit.
- If you have insurance, we can help you determine what type of benefits you have.
- We ask that you assign your insurance benefit to us.
- The balance will then be arranged for you to pay.
