Complimentary Initial Exam

At your first complimentary visit to our office you will meet with our treatment coordinator, Lesie, as well as one of the doctors. At at this time, you will be evaluated to determine what type of treatment is necessary, and all of your questions will be answered. If treatment is indicated, the cost of treatment will be determined to help you to decide if you would like to begin treatment. Complete diagnostic records typically include a medical/dental history, clinical examination, plaster study models of the teeth, photos of the patient’s face and teeth, and X-rays.

Records appointment

office photoThis appointment is used to create diagnostic digital X-rays, digital photos and 3-D study model to be studied by the doctors to determine your final treatment plan. This information is used to develop a custom treatment plan for each patient. These records are also helpful in tracking the progress of treatment as the teeth move under orthodontic care.

After the doctor has evaluated your records, we discuss your treatment with you in detail, including the cost for your particular case.

Regular Appointments

The appointment when you get your appliances (braces, expanders, etc.) usually takes 1 to 2 hours. You’ll then see us at regular intervals of 6 weeks for an adjustment, which takes 20 to 40 minutes. Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately.

For your convenience log in to your patient account to receive appointment reminders via email or phone text messaging. You can also confirm your appointment date and time. To register for Ortho Sesame, give us your email address next time you're in the office.

Cost

The cost of treatment depends on the severity of the patient’s problem. You will be able to discuss fees and payment options before treatment begins. We have several payment plans to suit different budgets. We work hard to make orthodontics affordable.

In an effort to keep orthodontic fees down while maintaining the highest level of professional care, we have established this financial policy:

No-initial-down-payment plan with CareCredit

care creditThere is no annual fee to sign up. Pay for treatment over 3, 6, or 12 months with NO interest. As long as you pay the low minimum monthly payment each month when due, and balance in full by the end of the 3, 6, or 12 month term. No interest will be charged on your purchase. Payment in full

You may qualify for a courtesy discount if you pay the account in full at the start of treatment. Ask our treatment coordinator, Leslie King, for details.

Office payment plan

ortho bancWith an initial downpayment of 25%, we can also set up a monthly payment plan. For your convenience the monthly payments can be made by Visa or MasterCard. You can also set up an automatic bank draft via Orthobanc. We will also be happy to assist you in setting up your pre-tax flexible spending plan.

Insurance

If you have insurance, we will help you to determine the coverage you have available. We will help in every way we can in filing your claim and handling insurance questions from our office on your behalf.
If you have orthodontic coverage, we accept and file all insurances. Here is a list of the major ones we file regularly. If you do not find your insurance listed, please call our office.
